Box 54-3 was dispatched @ 13:53 for an accident with injuries on North Deodate Road. Engine 54 arrived to find a Moped that had crashed, one Pt with considerable road rash. Engine crew assisted EMS with packaging the Pt and Box was placed in service.
Units: Engine 54, Utility 54 and South Central EMS.
Box 54-8 was dispatched @ 20:48 To assist the Three Mile Island Fire Brigade with a working pick-up truck fire. While Chief Shellenhamer was en-route county advised that TMI security was advising multiple vehicles involved. Chief 54 added Engine 88-1 to the box. Company 74 was on scene and had their equipment truck there with a 1 3/4" line in service. Engine 54 arrived and confirmed a working fire. Engine crew utilized the 1 3/4" trash line after scaling a security barricade to reach the fire. Engine 88-1 arrived and pulled a line to attack the fire at the rear. Engine 54-1 arrived a placed a line in service near the opposite end of the fire. Utility 54 arrived and provided lighting. Fire involved three pick-up trucks with heat damage to a back hoe. Units used a Class A foam line from Engine 54-1 to overhaul and the box was placed in service.

Car Fire on Route 283
September 20
Box 54-1 was dispatched @ around 22:30 for a reported vehicle fire on 283 west bound 2 miles east of the Vine Street exit. Engine 54 went en route with 4 and county advises multiple calls reporting a working fire. Engine 54 arrived to find a passenger vehicle on the brim of the road with a working engine compartment fire. Engine crew pulled the trash line and extinguished the fire. Engine 54-1 crew arrived and assisted the engine crew with overhaul. Utility 54 set up for traffic control. Box placed in service.

Involving School Bus
September 25
Company 54 dispatched for MVA /w injuries involving a school bus. Upon arrival crew found one patient minor injuries. Luckily the school bus was not occupied /w any children at the time of the accident.

Fire on Toll House Road
September 26
Box-54-1 was dispatched for a reported vehicle fire on Route 283
East Bound at Tollhouse Road. E-54 (Chief Shellenhamer) arrived on
scene reporting a working fire. E-54 crew pulled the 1-3/4" trash
line and knocked the fire down.
