Flips on Car on 441
March 1
County dispatched Company 54 for a reported tractor trailer on it's side near the 3800 block of River Road (441). Chief 54-1 (Nissley) went en route and county advised of a Dodge pick up on it's side with unknown injuries. Chief 54-1 arrived and reported a Ford pick up on it's side and a passenger vehicle with entrapment adding a Rescue to the box. Company 54 and 88 removed the drivers door and roof as well as cutting the steering wheel to remove the PT from the vehicle. Crews were released after the vehicles were removed and the township road crew and Penn Dot treated the icy roadways. Ambulance 54-1 was on another accident in our first due before this incident was dispatched.

Building Collapse
March 4
County dispatched Engine 54 and Utility 54 to Earl and Dave's scrap yard on 441 to assist Company 88 who was operating at a building collapse on a vehicle. Engine 54 was assigned to stand by at the Landing Zone along 441 and Utility 54 was advised to shut down 441 at Canal street. Company 88 extricated the driver of the vehicle and E-54's crew assisted with carrying the Pt. to Life Lion.

Woods Rollover
March 9
County dispatched Company 54 for reported MVA on Route 283 westbound, just west of Tollhouse Rd. Captain 54 (Kandrac) went enroute, county advised one vehicle off roadway, upside down, and on fire. Captain 54 arrived on scene, vehicle was not on fire, but driver was confined in overturned vehicle. Rescue 88 added to box for extrication assistance. Engine 54 arrived on scene, crew began vehicle stabilization, and patient care. Rescue 88 arrived and assisted Engine crew with patient extrication and stabilization. Driver and her baby were transported to Hershey Medical Center by MICU 7-3 and MICU 4-1. Crews were released when the vehicle was removed from scene.

Working Fire in
Middletown and an Accident on Vine Street
March 23
County dispatched Company 88 along with our Engine and other companies for a reported structure fire. Engine 88 arrived with a 21/2 story Duplex with heavy fire showing and requested the second alarm. Engine 54 (Dupler) arrived and laid in from 2 different location to supplement the units on scene water supply. Engine crew reported to man power.

While the Engine and other companies were operating at the scene county dispatched company 54 to an accident with injuries at Vine and Red Bridge roads. County dispatched Engine 48 in place of other units operating and due to the fact that Engine 54-1 was in Lebanon County at wild land fire training. Rescue 88 with a standby crew from Palmyra Fire on board responded along with Tanker 54(Assistant Chief Kleinfelter). Chief 54 Shellenhamer arrived and held the box to Rescue 88 and Tanker 54.
